Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 3 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugars, beat in eggs and vanilla, mix in dry ingredients, fold in chocolate chips. Drop tablespoons onto baking sheets, bake 8–10 min. Cool 5 min on sheet, then wire rack.

Ingredients: 1 pie crust, 1 c. sugar, 3 Tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 c. corn syrup, 1/3 c. melted butter, 3 eggs, 3/4 tsp vanilla, 1 heaping c. chopped pecans
Directions: Preheat oven 350°F. Mix sugars, salt, corn syrup, butter, eggs, vanilla. Pour pecans in crust, add mixture over pecans. Cover lightly with foil. Bake 30 min covered, remove foil, bake 20 min more. Cool before serving.
Shortbread Crust: 6 tbsp butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 cup flour, 1/2 tsp salt. Mix and bake 10 min in 9x9 pan.
Blueberry Jam: 12 oz blueberries, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tbsp cornstarch. Cook 15 min, smash berries halfway.
Cheesecake: 24 oz cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1 tbsp vanilla, 1 tbsp lemon zest, 3 eggs. Mix, pour on crust, swirl jam, bake 38–42 min, cool, refrigerate 6 hrs.
